Finally a Warm Day up at Three Sisters, Sunday 3rd October

What a pleasant surprise it was to finally get some long deserved warm weather.
Several pilots turned up and we headed up the hill to find the wind light and crossed to the east, only straightening up with the thermal cycles.  The pilots included Tim, Scott, Neil, Finn, Rob, Max, Henry, Paul, Steve, Mike and Hugh.  Initially a paraglider and Tim launched and quickly bombed out, much to the pleasure of the angry maggies.  An hour later a couple of us started packing up on the hill as it became more crossed,  only to set up again when it came on quarter of an hour later.  Most pilots launched before it became too crossed and strong as a street passed near the hill.  The lift was bubbly and heights of up to 1400 ft al were achieved.

The video shows a bit of my keel cam footage and several landings.  A good one of Hugh landing and maggies dive bombing Rob as he is landing.
